A.activities
around Lake Starnberg
Discover the postcard idyll of Oberambach: You take a small, hidden turnoff from the country road on the eastern shore of Lake Starnberg. The path leads you through a small forest and you already have one of the most beautiful and romantic places in the Bavarian Alpine foothills in mind: the Bio-Hotel Schlossgut Oberambach. The fairytale castle estate in the style of a Seidl villa with a hipped roof is enthroned on a hill above Lake Starnberg, surrounded by nothing but meadows, forests and a tree-lined castle park with scattered, small seating areas.
The mountain panorama with the Zugspitze spreads out on the horizon. Between the old giant trees you can see the glittering Lake Starnberg.
The most beautiful hiking trails in the Starnberg Five Lakes Region and the longest Nordic Walking Park in Germany lead right past the hotel complex.
