Spend the most beautiful day of your life in our stately country home on the eastern shore of Lake Starnberg. Our Schlossgut Oberambach is not even 40 kilometers away from Munich, but is in the middle of the countryside, surrounded only by forest and meadows.

With its ancient trees and a fountain, as well as a view of Lake Starnberg and the Alps, the romantic castle garden is the perfect place for a free wedding ceremony or a reception followed by a meal. We offer you celebrations for up to 30 people in our beautiful historic castle café and terrace.

From the main road, an inconspicuous turn-off leads through a forest and directly to our Schlossgut Oberambach - a listed manor that is unparalleled in the Upper Bavarian foothills of the Alps. Our organic hotel is surrounded by 50 hectares of forest and meadows, above Lake Starnberg and with a view of the Alps. With ancient trees, a fountain and many shady spots, the castle garden is made for your wedding on Lake Starnberg. Our sun terrace is ideal for a relaxed get-together at the champagne reception afterwards. It is only a few minutes' walk to the private property with access to Lake Starnberg. You can feel our philosophy of always being mindful and appreciative of the environment throughout the hotel.

Perhaps you have been too excited to personally greet all your guests, some of whom have traveled from far away to celebrate this special day with you. You have the opportunity to do so at the champagne reception on the lake view terrace: Then chat with your friends and relatives in a relaxed atmosphere.

If it's not warm enough, we'll simply move the wedding ceremony to the historic coach house or our large banquet hall and the champagne reception to our light-flooded conservatory.

At lunch we serve you regional and seasonal menus - in good weather under the open sky on the terrace with a view of Lake Starnberg. Alternatively, up to 30 people can be seated in the historic café.

By the way: A large part of the side dishes comes from our vegetable field, whose seeds and cultivation correspond to the regulations of Demeter eV. With our motto "Farm to Table" we also express our appreciation for the products processed in the kitchen and pay respect to the local farmers, butchers and fishermen.

Would you like some togetherness after dinner or between courses? Then retire to one of the swinging loungers in the castle garden or walk in a few minutes to our private property with access to the lake to enjoy an unforgettable sunset over Lake Starnberg with a glass of champagne. This day belongs only to you. Then we celebrate. From our winter garden, which is glazed on two sides, you have direct access to the outside during the exuberant wedding celebration on Lake Starnberg.
